Non-Asbestos (or NA) gaskets are the substitute for gaskets formerly made of Asbestos. Once widely used in the fluid sealing industry due to its excellent heat resistant properties, asbestos has now been banned as a hazardous material. Non-Asbestos gaskets and sheet materials are now usually made-up of aramid and other synthetic fibers combined with a polymer binder, Nitrile (or Buna-N) and SBR being the two most common.

Non-Asbestos’ excellent compressibility, oil and chemical resistance and heat tolerance makes it a great option for a multitude of service conditions.

CC Gasket stocks an extensive range of Non-Asbestos sheet materials in a variety of thicknesses, colors, temperature resistances and binders. We stock both unbranded and branded Non-Asbestos sheets, such as the Garlock 3 series, Teadit 1000 series and Klinger 4 series. We stock and can manufacture any standard size flange gasket in both Raised Face and Full Face options. We carry sheets as large as 120” x 120” for your larger gasket needs. We are available 24-7 to take measurements in the field, and our skilled crew of gasket makers can manufacture any of your specialty gasket needs.
